The Anniversary Luncheon
The Anniversary Luncheon commemorates the founding of the Lyceum
Club in Brisbane on Friday 2 May 1919 and is held annually in late
April or early May.
It is a very special occasion for the Club and is accompanied either
by a performance of a play or music or an address by a well known
speaker.
The Anniversary Luncheons commenced in 1995 following the highly
successful 75th Anniversary Dinner which was celebrated at the Queensland
Parliamentary Annexe on Friday, 29 April 1994. Her Excellency the
Governor of Queensland, Mrs Leneen Forde AC attended the dinner
and gave the anniversary address.

or provides an interpretation of her special interests.
