Association with Other Lyceum Clubs

Our Club is a member of The Australian Association of Lyceum Clubs Incorporated (A.A.L.C.), and a Group Associate member of the International Association of Lyceum Clubs (I.A.L.C.) The addresses of I.A.L.C. Clubs are available from the Secretary or the website www.lyceumclub.org

The Secretariat of The Australian Association of Lyceum Clubs Incorporated rotates among the States every three years.

Other Lyceum Clubs in Australia are the Karrakatta Club Inc., Perth, The Lyceum Club, Adelaide Incorporated, The Lyceum Club, Melbourne, and the Lyceum Club, Sydney Incorporated. We have reciprocal arrangements with these Clubs and they keep us informed of their activities through Newsletters that are kept on display in the Rooms.

This Club does not own premises, but holds meetings and has use of facilities in the University and Schools Club.

Reciprocal Arrangements with other Clubs

By special arrangement with Tattersall's Club, Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, accommodation is available to Lyceum Club members.
When arranging reservations, Lyceum members will be required to show their Club card. Please contact our Club Secretary for details.

Reciprocal arrangements are held with The Women's Club, Sydney.

The University Women's Club, 2 Audley Square, South Audley Street, London WIY 6DB, offers accommodation and dining facilities through reciprocal arrangements with the Australian Association of Lyceum Clubs.

Brochures from Lyceum Clubs in Australia and other clubs in Australia and overseas are located in a folder in the meeting room.

An introductory card for visits must be obtained from our Club Secretary before visiting an affiliated Club.

Please ask the Secretary for information before making any arrangements with overseas clubs.

Use Annual Membership Cards for visits to Australian affiliated Clubs. Membership must be current and not Leave of Absence.
