Membership
Nominations: Membership of the Club is by invitation. Potential new members may be nominated
and seconded by Club members who are not relatives of the nominee. A new member
may nominate a potential member from the time of joining the Club. All questions
relating to membership will be directed to the Membership Secretary so that
current information may be given.
Proposed nominations are taken to a Management Committee Meeting for approval
before application forms are sent out. Upon approval, an application form is
sent to the proposer who is asked to forward the form to the applicant for completion.
The applicant is asked to return the completed form to the proposer for signatures
from the proposer and seconder. The proposer forwards these to the Membership
Secretary. Applications are then displayed on the notice board in the Club Rooms
for two weeks. The final decision regarding membership is made by the Management
Committee after this period of time.
Subscriptions:
An entrance fee is payable by new members. This fee includes the provision
of a key which opens both front and kitchen doors.
Annual subscriptions are due at the beginning of the Club's financial year
which is July 1. Pro-rata subscription fees apply to members who join after
July.
