Thursday, 23 September Hans Heysen – a travelling exhibition from the Art Gallery of SA. Heysen is one of Australia’s most renowned landscape artists.

Meet at Stanley Street entrance at Queensland Art Gallery at 1.20 pm.

 

Thursday, 28 October Exclusive to Brisbane, Valentino, Retrospective: Past/Present/Future is a major exhibition developed by Les Arts Decoratifs, Paris. It explores the work of the celebrated Italian fashion house, Valentino. Exhibition on Level 1, GoMA, Stanley Place, South Bank

Thursday, 25 Zen to Kawaii: The Japanese affect. It has been well documented that artists looked to all things Japanese as source material. Sometimes the evidence is barely evident and other times quite literal. Zen to Kawaii explores elements of Japanese aesthetics in recent Australian art, architecture and design.

 Wednesday, 02 February (Extra Event) ida Lahey – Queensland artist. A survey of her work. A great opportunity for all club members – many are very familiar with her work.

Thursday, 24 February Tasmania artist focus DVD (if available) or Fairweather Man documentary DVD followed by meeting for Hobart.

Club rooms at 1.30 pm until 2.30 pm for DVD and discussion.  2.30 pm – 3.30 pm Hobart group.
